Oregon Chapter 7 Liquidation Bankruptcy
For many individuals, a liquidation bankruptcy is their best option when they are facing creditor harassment, wage garnishment, credit card debt, overwhelming medical bills or other debt relief issues. A chapter 7 bankruptcy liquidates or wipes away all of your debt, with a few exceptions such as back taxes and school loans, enabling you to get a financial fresh start. In general, if you can qualify for a chapter 7 consumer liquidation, this is a good option.
As a Portland, Oregon, based bankruptcy lawyer, here is what I will do for you:
- Listen — To your needs and concerns as well as your hopes and dreams
- Explain — How the process works, what you can keep and what you can't keep
- Recommend — A chapter 7 or chapter 13 bankruptcy or alternate debt relief option
- Qualify — Help you qualify for a chapter 7 by gathering all the pertinent information
- Process — Make sure the appropriate paperwork is accurate and filed on time, that you make appearances when and where you are supposed to, and that the bankruptcy filing is completed properly
- Understand — Deal with you as an individual who deserves to be treated with respect
